Exclusions under a personal injury law firm’s policy with Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. bar the firm from seeking coverage of defense fees in a privacy violation lawsuit, a North Carolina federal court ruled.
Robert Bradley Van Laningham and his firm Bradley Law Group failed to show that the underlying suit is covered by the Nationwide policy, the US District Judge James Dever of the Eastern District of North Carolina said in his Monday decision.
