About Yonas Gebreselassie

Yonas’ legal career began over two decades ago. His professional and work experience covers a wide range within law. Previously, Mr Gebreselassie served as a Judge to District and State courts in Eritrea and had worked as a Human Rights Intern/fellow in The Gambia and UK. He also worked as a Legal researcher and consultant in South Africa, Eritrea and the United States. These experiences provided him with a unique and very extensive and invaluable practical knowledge about the challenges applicants encounter and the reliefs involved throughout their immigration process. Mr Gebreselassie had been a co-owner of two start-ups/companies in California tasked with legal research and formation tasks.

When not serving clients, Attorney Yonas likes to jog and do short runs. He also enjoys spending time and traveling with his family.
