About Yari Lawson

Yari D. Lawson is a native of Eatonton, Georgia . He is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta , GA. Yari received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas , School of Law. Yari focuses his practice on criminal defense and personal injury. Before going into private practice, Yari served as an Assistant Public Defender in the Macon Judicial Circuit and as Assistant District Attorney in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. As a criminal defense attorney, Yari blends his experiences as a former prosecutor, his work as a former assistant public defender, and his passion to serve to provide competent and thorough representation of each of his clients. He is licensed to practice in the State of Georgia. Yari is mentor for inner-city youth at Parks Middle School in Atlanta, Georgia and is an instructor for the Women Economic Development Agency, a non-profit school devoted to teaching women courses to start their own businesses.
