About Victor Feraru

Victor M. Feraru is an attorney with experience from multiple sides of the legal system. Having lived in over 40 foster and group homes before being adopted later in life, he has a personal connection that offers compassion and unique insight in legal matters.

From these experiences, sprung a desire to devote his life to helping others.

​EDUCATION
He received his B.A. from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, then his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law.
In law school, Feraru served as an extern for two U.S. District Court Judges and as a law clerk for the Illinois State’s Attorney’s Office in Southern Illinois, where he worked on serious felony and civil matters.
He also worked as a social media assistant for the American Bar Association’s Law Student Division.

​ACCOLADES
In 2018, Feraru was named one of 20 top US law students for activism by the National Jurist Magazine.
Feraru was appointed to the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services’ Children’s Justice Task Force as a law student. There he represented the position of an adult survivor of child abuse and neglect.
