About Timothy Martin

Tim counsels the firm’s developer, banking and health care clients in connection with the acquisition, zoning, development, financing, leasing and conveyancing of commercial developments such as hospitals, shopping centers, office, warehouse, apartment and multi-family projects.  He has been responsible for many of the major real estate transactions handled by the Firm. As lead attorney, he has supervised other attorneys and paralegals in handling complicated legal issues involving the transfer, financing, acquisition, zoning and other governmental regulatory matters of major projects as well as negotiations involving purchase and sale agreements, leases, lease enforcement and defaults, and other landlord/tenant issues. He also has extensive experience in representing lenders involved both as “lender” and as “investor” in real estate developments. His background as “developer” counsel makes him particularly well suited in representing lenders in negotiating and documenting effective restructuring and workout agreements for distressed real estate.
