About Thomas Mingus

I graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 1989, and unlike many college students, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life. Helping people has always been a passion of mine, specifically helping those who are facing difficult times and don’t have the ability to fight for themselves. After being accepted into the University of Missouri Columbia School of Law, I focused on learning the finer points of the law so that I could be in a position to help people in times of significant stress and crisis. Eventually, in 1992, I received my Juris Doctor degree and passed the Missouri bar admissions soon after, allowing me to officially begin my career practicing law.

Since the day of my very first case, I’ve been committed to the idea of treating every single client with respect and compassion. When you find yourself dealing with legal troubles, it can feel like your entire life is slowly falling apart. To make matters worse, it can be difficult to find anyone that you can rely on to help ensure that you’re not being taken advantage of during these difficult times. I’ve worked with countless clients who are facing significant legal challenges — from state and federal criminal charges to personal injury struggles and family law issues — that have the potential to tear apart families and destroy relationships. These are the people I aim to help, and these are the cases that can be the most fulfilling for me on a personal level.
