About Thomas Knight

Mr. Thomas J. Knight has handled jury and judge-tried cases since 1975. Raised in Anniston, Alabama, and now residing in Talladega County, he began his practice in Atlanta, Georgia, trying cases in its Superior Courts, State Courts, and in Alabama and Georgia Appeals Courts, Federal District Courts, United States Courts of Appeals (5th, 6th, 8th and 11th Circuits), and since 1976 in Alabama Circuit Courts and Supreme Court. He has also handled appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court.

After graduating from Emory Law School, Atlanta, in 1975, he received his prior undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore in 1972. Now specializing in complex litigation, often with intricate medical, financial, technical, and scientific issues, Mr. Knight has tried and won numerous jury cases, and non-jury cases and argued a number of appeals successfully in the U.S. Courts of Appeals and Alabama Supreme Court.
