About Steve Spencer

I am an experienced litigator in both civil and criminal law for twenty-four (24) years. I have prevailed at trial in numerous felony cases in which the defendant was wrongfully accused. I have experience and expertise in civil rights, and I have brought numerous cases against law enforcement agencies for police misconduct in which I have obtained settlements for my clients.

I have obtained and collected six-figure judgments for small business owners in contract dispute cases. I have successfully represented clients in divorce matters, some of which proceeded to trial, in which large marital estates were at issue and/or where custody and parent-time issues were fiercely contested. I have obtained six-figure settlements in personal injury cases. I have brought lawsuits against major oil companies and I understand oil, gas, and mining law.

I am also seasoned and skilled in motion and appellate practice. I was formerly in-house counsel for Mile High Contracting, a leading communications utility installation contractor for the Wasatch Front that has since discontinued its activities. I am available on a limited basis to select clients for litigation or consultation. I am interested in discussing prospects of a corporate counsel position with your company.
