About Stephen Whittaker

Stephen, the owner, founded the law firm in in 1984, after serving 17 years with Case Kay Clause & Lynch, which he joined in 1978. After that firm dissolved in 1995, Stephen formed The Law Offices of Stephen D. Whittaker with one partner and in 2004 left Whittaker Lacy & Jackson to work alone.

This law firm is the fruit of 44 years of practical experience in Hawaii’s court system by its founder. Stephen has lived in Hawaii for 56 years and has spent his entire legal career in Hawaii. A graduate of St. Joseph High School in Hilo, the Big Island has always been his home.
