About Stephen Gindling

Stephen has been an attorney since 2001 and has represented thousands of individuals in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases during that time. He is experienced in all bankruptcy matters, with a particular emphasis on litigation, including valuation, non-discharge ability, and claim validity. He has also appeared before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Bankruptcy Appellate Panel.

Stephen previously represented secured creditors and bankruptcy trustees in state and federal courts, and he uses this experience to help his clients navigate their options to reach the best result. He currently heads up the firm’s Oregon Chapter 13 post-confirmation department. Stephen received his undergraduate degree from Williams College in Williamstown, MA, and his JD from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark in Portland. He is licensed in Oregon and Washington and is admitted to practice in the District of Oregon, the Western District of Washington, and the Eastern District of Washington.
