About Scott Metz

Attorney Scott D. Metz is a lifelong resident of the Fox Valley. He graduated from Oshkosh North High School in 1974. He then obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1978 and his law degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School in 1981.

Attorney Metz has practiced law in Appleton, WI since 1981. He obtained partnership status while working for Bachman, Cummings and McIntyre from 1981 to 1990. In 1990, he began a law partnership with Attorney Steven P. Krause, a partnership that continued until the end of 2017. As of January 1, 2018, Attorney Metz has been a sole proprietor doing business as Metz Law & Mediation.

Since 1981, Attorney Metz has practiced primarily in the areas of personal injury law and family law. He has gained a reputation as a determined advocate for his clients.

Attorney Metz is a member of the Outagamie County Bar Association and State Bar of Wisconsin. He is active in the community, volunteering time with the American Legion Baseball, St. Joseph Church, and other worthwhile organizations.

Attorney Metz and his wife, Marie, have 3 adult sons, Justin, Jason, and Jeremy. He enjoys spending free time with his growing family of grandchildren, currently including Lily, Eli, Shirley, and Michael.
