Scott Holcomb is an experienced attorney who has practiced since 1998. He focuses his practice on litigation and enjoys helping his clients.

For more than a decade, Scott has been in private practice. During this time, he has primarily represented broker-dealers, investment advisers, and registered representatives in arbitrations, civil litigation, and regulatory matters. He has defended more than 200 arbitrations concerning various claims such as suitability, excessive trading, unauthorized trading, failure to supervise, failure to conduct adequate due diligence, and raiding. He has also defended numerous regulatory actions before the SEC, FINRA, and state regulators on matters involving allegations of excessive trading, insider trading, L-share variable annuities, mutual fund switching, the suitability of leveraged and inverse exchange traded funds, due diligence for private placements, market timing, anti-money laundering, and Regulation S-P.

Today, Scott has a diverse practice that includes securities arbitrations, regulatory matters, employment cases, and complex litigation. He also helps political candidates and he has experience with residency challenges and election contests in Georgia.

Scott began his legal career as an attorney with the U.S. Army JAG Corps. He served as a prosecutor and litigated cases before military judges and panels. From 2000-2003, Scott deployed three consecutive times. He advised the three star generals who commanded ground forces during the initial stages of the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. He later served as an employment and labor attorney and successfully tried numerous cases before Administrative Law Judges.
