About Salah Shawa

Litigation Attorney experienced in civil litigation and commercial disputes ; He represents plaintiffs and defendants in civil & commercial matters before courts and tribunals, and manages all phases of arbitration and litigation process from inception through termination.

Salah started his legal career as a young attorney in Syria- Aleppo, after practicing for few years in civil and commercial litigation, and following the uprising in Syria in 2011, he was forced to flee to UAE-Dubai where he practiced law in international business, corporate law, intellectual property, real estate, commercial, and civil litigation. During his law practice in Dubai, Salah successfully closed numerous high-value cases before Courts and DIAC arbitrations, he was the lead counsel in Palaxo Technologies v. Lexmark, which set foundational precedent in the transfer of technology contracts in UAE.

In 2018, Salah moved to New York to pursue his legal career where he obtained his second master of laws and became an admitted attorney in the state of New York, he currently represents plaintiffs for personal injuries and medical malpractice cases in New York, as well as provides support for complex commercial disputes in Dubai- UAE.

Salah holds Bachelor of Laws from the University of Aleppo, Master degree in international Business law from Paris-Sorbonne University , and Master of Laws from Brooklyn Law school.
