About Rosemarie Paine
Rosemarie grew up in West Haven, Connecticut, and attended Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden. After law school at the University of Connecticut, she practiced trial law in New York City, where she defended clients accused of serious crimes. She returned to Connecticut in 1996, working as a civil and criminal litigator, before joining the firm in 2000.
Rosemarie’s practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, criminal defense and civil rights litigation. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. Elected to the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Board of Governors, Rosemarie co-chairs the CTLA Women’s Caucus and is also a member of the Women’s Caucus for the American Association for Justice.
Rosemarie teaches trial advocacy at the University of Connecticut Law School and regularly lectures on trial law before professional groups. Rosemarie is also active in Habitat for Humanity, serving on the organization’s Board of Directors and as Chair for Humanity’s Women’s Build, which raises funds and builds homes for deserving New Haven Families.
