Rod Dixon
About Rod Dixon
SK Rod Dixon exclusively represents victims of negligent or intentional acts that cause physical, emotional, or mental injuries.
Since beginning his practice more than a decade ago, Rod has focused almost exclusively on personal injury litigation, in the areas of automobile accidents, medical malpractice, defective products, injuries caused by criminals, and injuries caused on the property of others. He has worked as a defense lawyer and a plaintiffs’ lawyer, giving him the experience necessary to understand both sides of the case, which helps maximize recoveries for his clients.
Rod has won significant victories in both state and federal court. He has successfully tried, as lead counsel, multi-million dollar cases in the toughest venues in Georgia. Because of his trial experience, a cornerstone of Rod’s practice is steadfast fearlessness to take a case to trial. This is important, because a client’s recovery cannot be maximized with a lawyer who is afraid of a fight!
Rod’s peers have consistently recognized his results and dedication to clients. He has numerous selections as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. The National Trial Lawyers Association also recognized Rod as one of Georgia’s Top 40 Trial Lawyers Under the Age of 40. Rod received the Top 1% Car Accident Lawyer Award. Georgia Trend Magazine has also recognized Rod as one of Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite. Multiple trial verdicts Rod has obtained for deserving clients have appeared in VerdictSearch’s Top Georgia Verdicts.
Rod has written articles and practice materials on several subjects, including personal injury, products liability, premises liability, and ethics. He has also lectured on civil litigation topics for many groups, including the Georgia Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Emory University, Southern Regional Medical Center, and the West End Medical Center.
