About Robert Hochman

A founding member of Cohen Hochman & Allen, Mr. Hochman partnered with Walter Cohen (a former Administrative Law Judge at ECB) over 30 years ago to create what has become the preeminent municipal law firm in New York City.

For decades, Mr. Hochman has grown his practice on the ideals of providing experienced representation to help property owners and managers fight against unfair persecution by NYC agencies. Beginning his legal career at the NYC Department of Buildings, Mr. Hochman served as the Director of Administrative Enforcement for the DOB before going into private practice. He has given numerous talks at the New York County Lawyers Association on various housing and property issues that affect his clients.
