About Robert Brumfield
I’m Robert Brumfield, a lawyer who specializes in family and business planning. My grandfather owned a successful soft drink bottling business in Rome, Georgia, but unfortunately, he and his co-owner brother didn’t plan the sale in a way that would protect their payments. When the buyer stopped paying and went out of business, my grandfather suffered a severe financial setback that caused him tremendous stress and likely contributed to his early passing.
Reflecting on my grandfather’s experience, I realized that proper planning could have safeguarded his retirement, allowing him to enjoy a long, peaceful retirement with financial security. This realization has motivated me to focus my legal work on helping families and businesses protect their legacies and enhance their personal and financial well-being.
While I always strive to provide excellent legal services to my clients, I also believe in developing personal relationships with them. By building trust and understanding, we can work together to achieve results that provide peace of mind in difficult situations.
Since 1984, I have been practicing law with the highest ethical standards, which have earned me recognition as a “Top Lawyer in California” by my peers and “Client Distinction” and “Client Champion” awards from Martindale-Hubbell for outstanding service, value, responsiveness, and communication ability. To me, these awards are a testament to the strong relationships I have built with my clients.
