About Richard Gerding

Richard Mayberry has an advanced law degree from George Washington Law School. Mr. Mayberry and Ms. Miorini have been co-presenters at many Continuing Legal Education seminars over the years. Mr. Mayberry has also been a Northern Virginia Community speaker on subjects including Special Needs Trusts, Asset Protection, Elder Law, Living Trusts and many other seminars.

Richard Mayberry is a former Co-Chair, Estate Planning and Elder Law Committees of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia (BADC). He is a former member of Board of Directors, trustee and Vice President for the Grant-Making of the Bar’s Foundation. For many years, Dick was a “Fellow of the Bar”, and former advisory council member of the McLean Estate Planning Council.

Mr. Mayberry moved from litigation practice into estate planning in the mid-1990’s with a view to serve the “middle class” in the metropolitan area. From 1980 to 2000, Mr. Mayberry practiced law in Washington D.C., located near the White House. Today, Mr. Mayberry brings to bear the 35 years of experience and judgment honed from his Washington practice and his Trusts and Estates practice based in McLean, Virginia.

Richard Mayberry practices both as a solo practice and serves as Of Counsel to Miorini Law PLLC. He is licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
