About Rachel Anderson
Rachel was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana. After graduating from Mount Carmel Academy, she attended Louisiana State University. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and Sociology with a concentration in Criminology. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate and a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2019.
While at LSU Law, Rachel was an active member of the Board of Advocates furthering the promotion and development of oral and written persuasive advocacy skills. She competed in the Robert Lee Tullis Moot Court Competition where she was recognized as a Top Oralist. In addition, Rachel served as an LSU Law Ambassador, was a member of the Public Interest Law Society, and participated every year in the annual Barristers’ Bowl raising money and awareness for various charities. She was a recipient of the Chancellor’s Scholarship and received the CALI Award of Excellence for the highest grade in Legal Research & Writing I. She also externed with the Family Court of East Baton Rouge under Judge Pamela Baker. Rachel was honored as a Dean’s Scholar every semester and graduated cum laude in the top 25% of her class.
Rachel was a summer clerk with the firm and a part-time clerk during her 3rd year of law school before joining full time as an associate in 2019.
