Our Attorneys
Amy M. Carter
Ms. Carter is an Atlanta native but moved to Texas with her family in 1992 where she finished high school. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California Irvine in 2000 where she competed on the National Speech and Debate Team.

She went on to law school at the California Western School of Law and won two DUI jury trials while clerking at the public defender’s office before graduating from law school.

Phil Pilgrim
Mr. Pilgrim is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Afterward, he attended Georgia State University College of Law where he earned his law degree.

During law school, he clerked for Judge Steve Jones of the Western Judicial Circuit and served as a prosecutor for the Forsyth County Solicitor General’s Office as well as the Dekalb County District Attorney’s office. After completing his law degree, he served as a prosecutor in Forsyth County where he spent a majority of his time in active litigation.
