Attorney Paul J. Garrity offers assistance in Criminal Defense cases in State and Federal Courts such as Violent Crimes, Homicides, DUI/DWI and Drug Sales and Possession in Nashua and Manchester New Hampshire.

Attorney Paul J. Garrity graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and then obtained his law degree from Boston University. He initially became an attorney in New Hampshire in 1986 and then passed the Massachusetts Bar Exam in 1990. Attorney Garrity became a member of the United States District bar in New Hampshire in 1986 and then the United States District bar in Massachusetts in 1990. He also became a member of the bar of the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals in 1988. Attorney Garrity was also admitted Pro Hac Vice to the United States District Court for St. Thomas, Virgin Islands in 2003.

Since becoming an attorney in 1986 Attorney Garrity’s practice has been exclusively focused on criminal defense. Over the past 25 years Attorney Garrity has tried approximately 200 jury trials in State and Federal Courts in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. These trials have involved charges of murder, manslaughter, negligent homicide, felony sexual assaults, bank robbery, drug sales, drug conspiracy, gun crimes, assault and DWI. Attorney Garrity has also tried hundreds of bench trials and has also handled dozens of appeals in the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. One of his murder cases was the basis for the true crime book “Because You Loved Me” by William Phelps.
