About Onyema Farrey

Onyema Anene Farrey is the founder and managing attorney of Anene Farrey & Associates, LLC.  She received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia. Thereafter, Attorney Farrey obtained her Master of Business Administration from Stetson University and her Juris Doctor law degree from Stetson University’s College of Law.

Attorney Farrey’s skills and expertise lie in the areas of father’s rights, divorce, and family law. Her practice ranges from prenuptial agreements and child support matters to complex custody battles, and high-asset divorces. Due to her astute, legal strategies and keen knowledge of the law, Attorney Farrey has not only been successful in obtaining favorable results for her clients, but she is often able to obtain a court judgment that requires the opponent to reimburse her clients for their legal fees.

Attorney Farrey is well-known and respected in the legal community as a highly intellectual and skilled Attorney. She will always fight to obtain justice for her clients in the courtroom in every case. Her passion for trial work predates her career as an attorney as she has competed on several trial teams throughout her educational training, including serving as a member on the nationally #1 ranked Stetson trial team. Attorney Farrey proudly holds a Florida state title and a national championship title as ‘Best Advocate’ for her performances in the courtroom.

Attorney Farrey has quickly developed a niche area of her family law practice that focuses on Father’s Rights. Although she represents both men and women, early in her career Attorney Farrey discovered that there was a need for Fathers to have more legal representation in the state of Georgia. The legitimation laws in Georgia require unmarried fathers to file a lawsuit against the mother to have any legal or parental rights to their own children. Historically, fathers have been the underdogs in the courtroom. However, it remains Attorney Farrey’s passion and goal to level the playing field for fathers as she aggressively advocates for their parental rights daily.

Attorney Farrey has represented people from all walks of life, from your everyday working professional to corporate executives, professional athletes, celebrities, music artists, producers, TV reality stars, and other high-profile clients. She has quickly gained a reputation of being known as a fearless litigator because of her track record!

In December 2020, Attorney Farrey was sworn in as an Associate Judge with the Clayton County Magistrate Court where she will preside on the bench on a part-time basis to serve her community.  In addition to practicing law, she has also worked as an adjunct professor in the criminal justice departments at two universities.  She is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association, Clayton County Bar Association, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Attorney Farrey’s personality is that of not only a strong litigator but a caring leader who always strives to make sure that she protects her clients’ family, children, and future. Most people characterize her as being very personable and down to earth with a no-nonsense attitude. In her spare time, Attorney Farrey enjoys playing billiards, roller skating, and traveling the world, including to her home country of Nigeria.
