About Nisreen Mahesri

Nisreen B. Mahesri is dually licensed in Texas and the U.S. Southern District Court of Texas. Nisreen worked with The Law Office of Ilana R. Tanner prior to attending law school in Michigan. She has become a real asset to the firm since that time, and in April 2023, Nisreen joined The Law Office of Ilana R. Tanner serving as an associate attorney.

Nisreen is a zealous advocate for her clients, and her passion lies in assisting clients in family law matters and estate planning. Her vision is to deliver creative and effective solutions unique to every individual and family need. She strives to work with every client on a personal basis and to offer the highest quality representation possible. Clients who have worked with Nisreen have been appreciative of her warm personal demeanor, dedication, and never-give-up work ethic.

Nisreen is a native Houstonian and was raised in a strong Pakistani family. Her background gives her a unique perspective and understanding of the needs of her clients. Nisreen is a graduate of the University of Western Michigan -Cooley College of Law. Nisreen enjoyed being involved with community service during her college and Law School years. While attending Law School, Nisreen was a member of the Student Bar Association, and she participated in the Melissa Mitchell Moot Court Competition coming in second place in her second year of law school. Nisreen completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Texas-Austin with a minor in business through the UT McCombs School of Business, Austin. Nisreen has brought her passion and enthusiasm for helping others to her law practice.

In her free time, Nisreen loves cooking, reading, traveling, running, and spending time with her friends and family.
