About Neal Hanna

M. Neal Hanna obtained his BA from the University of Colorado in 1997 and graduated cum laude from SMU School of Law in 2001. He is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Texas, and Tennessee.

Mr. Hanna is the owner of Saddle Creek Title and he continues to operate the company as its President and Closing Attorney just as he has since he founded it in 2006.

He has extensive experience in all phases of residential and commercial real estate law, including purchase and sale, development, construction and finance. He has represented numerous major banks in residential and commercial lending transactions, including SBA guaranteed loans, multi-family housing developments and retail centers. In addition, Mr. Hanna has a very broad background in investor property acquisitions and sales, including representation of investor buyers and sellers from across the United States as well as in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and South Africa.

Mr. Hanna is also an issuing agent for several major national title insurance companies. Through his dedication to providing innovative, client-centered title and closing services, Neal has been able to grow Saddle Creek Title into one of the largest title companies in the Mid-South area.

Mr. Hanna’s prior legal experience includes significant work in the areas of general corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, banking and finance, securities law and corporate restructuring. In 2001 he was involved in the largest corporate restructuring and bankruptcy case in U.S. history. He was also previously involved in the acquisition and development of a retail and sports entertainment complex which is home to a minor league baseball franchise and is the training headquarters for an NHL Hockey team. He participated in the bond defeasement of a MLB baseball stadium in Arlington, Texas and was involved in the acquisition and development of the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas which is home to an NBA and NHL team. Mr. Hanna also has extensive construction and real estate related litigation experience and was instrumentally involved in two major precedent-setting U.S. Bankruptcy Court victories involving construction industry labor unions.
