About Natalie Kussart

Natalie Kussart is Chair of the Class Action SLG (Special Litigation Group) for DRI (The Voice of the Defense Bar).  She is also Chair of her firm’s Class Action Team for the Business Litigation and Products Liability practice groups.  Natalie has been named as a Rising Star by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers in 2009, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019, which is an honor given to no more than 2.5% attorneys in the state.  She has been with Sandberg Phoenix for almost 15 years.

Working with the Business Litigation and Products Liability practice groups, Natalie has experience in class actions, commercial and construction litigation, trust litigation, personal injury and tort defense, product and toxic tort liability, medical malpractice defense, arbitration/mediation and appellate work. Throughout her career, she has represented trucking and bus companies, hospitals, physicians, banks, mortgage providers, and manufacturers of automobiles, consumer products, heavy machinery, medical devices, recreational products and drugs/pharmaceuticals.

Sharing Sandberg Phoenix’s focus on superior client service, Natalie prides herself on responding to client inquiries quickly and achieving the best possible result for her clients. She is committed to defending her clients effectively and efficiently.

Outside her legal practice, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family (including three daughters), taking family walks with her dog, reading, watching movies, and traveling to warm destinations.
