About Myra Fleischer

Myra Chack Fleischer founded Fleischer Law Office in 2001. In 2013, she added the respected law office of Richard R. Ravreby to her firm. Together they formed the new firm Fleischer & Ravreby, based in Carlsbad, California. Fleischer serves as Lead Counsel, and she focuses on high-asset divorce cases and litigation, including property, custody, and support issues, settlement agreements, mediation, asset divisions, and family law appeals. Her financial background combined with her law expertise is a key factor in Myra’s success. Striving to avoid court where possible, Myra drives settlement of assets through mediation, while maintaining a formidable reputation as a fierce litigator when it’s called for. Myra is a strong believer in the need for advocacy of children and the sensitive practice of domestic law.

Experience & Education
Myra has been practicing law in San Diego since 1997. She also has experience in civil litigation. Fleischer is one of only 200 Certified Family Law Specialists (CLS-F) in San Diego County, a designation that denotes specialized expertise in this area of family law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Myra worked for 10 years in public accounting and then as the controller of an international mid-sized software company.

Fleischer received her JD (Juris Doctorate) from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. During her time as a student, she was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Bancroft Whitney Award in Federal Income Taxation. Prior to law school, Myra attended Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She majored in marketing and earned a B.B.A. She also completed postgraduate work in accounting from Temple University.
