About Montserratt Araujo

No one, but those who sincerely do the true work of tax resolution, knows the time, energy, and effort it takes to reach a successful resolution of delinquent tax matters with the IRS and/or state agencies. Araujo Law Offices has both English & Spanish speaking attorneys and staff members that are eager to communicate with our clients through every step of the process.

We do not falsely promise our potential clients what amount we can save them; we give real examples of similarly situated clients for whom we have reached a resolution (see examples below). However, what we promise is that WE WILL FIGHT FOR YOU! Our clients with $15,000 tax liabilities get no less of our perseverance, time and dedication than our clients with tax liabilities in the millions.

Prior to representation, we do an extensive client consultation. This is not only done to gain a basic understanding of the government debt forgiveness program for which the client may be eligible available (green word here needs to be deleted) but also to discern useful information that potential clients do not realize may be useful in successfully defending their cause before the IRS and/or state agencies.

Most clients come to us seeking an “Offer in Compromise,” which is a drastic reduction or complete elimination of the tax liability. Many of our clients qualify for this debt forgiveness strategy; but for those that do not, it’s not the ONLY option. Araujo Law Offices is known for its creativity in reaching agreements on behalf of our clients with the IRS and/or state agencies.
