About Michael Mastrianni
Michael W. Mastrianni grew up in Plainville, attended Plainville schools, and has spent his entire career practicing law in Plainville. He is presently serving as the Town Attorney for the Town of Plainville, and had his own law practice in town prior to the establishment of Mastrianni & Seguljic, LLC.
He is a graduate of Plainville High School and received his law degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Law now known as Quinnipiac School of Law. Here, he was selected as a member of the University’s National Moot Court Board, member of the school’s Legal Aid Society, and was chosen to be a Student Bar Association representative.
He has also interned as an Assistant to the Prosecutor in the Bridgeport State’s Attorney’s Office. He received his undergraduate degree from the Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut.
His extensive experience as an arbitrator and court-appointed special master has allowed him to be more effective both as an advocate and a problem solver in helping clients find innovative and economic resolutions for their personal disputes. As the Town Attorney for the Town of Plainville, he is involved in all aspects of town government. He provides advice regarding issues faced by the town, including zoning issues, personnel matters, tax appeals, collections, charter revisions, and potential town liability issues.
