About Michael Levy
Michael is the owner and senior partner of Gold, Levy & Poirot, which he and Gary Gold founded in 1988. During this time, Michael has represented thousands of injured clients. Over the years, Gold, Levy & Poirot has recovered over $100,000,000.00 in personal injury settlements and judgments on behalf of thousands of injured and disabled clients.
In the past 40 years, Michael has practiced law in the Connecticut and New York courts. He is a gifted trial attorney, who has tried dozens of cases to successful verdict before juries in Hartford, Waterbury, and New Haven. Michael has argued before the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts, and has represented his clients in innumerable mediations, arbitrations, and hearings. Michael has, himself, served as a panel arbitrator through the American Arbitration Association.
Michael’s cases include motor vehicle crashes, slip and fall accidents, defective products claims, medical malpractice, train/truck/bus crashes, Worker’s Compensation claims, wrongful death and debilitating injuries/traumatic brain injury, and injuries caused by dog bites and attacks.
Michael is an outspoken and spirited advocate for his clients. He works hard to get his clients the best possible resolution in each and every case. Michael’s victories have been featured in the Hartford Courant, the Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island Verdict Reporter, and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association Forum.
Michael is a Hartford Native, and a graduate of the old Weaver High School. He and his wife, Suzanne, live in Farmington. Michael is an avid golfer and enjoys playing tennis. He is a 25-year member of the Golf Club of Avon.
