About Michael Horowitz

Attorney Michael K. Horowitz is a partner at Matheson & Horowitz where he provides aggressive legal representation and compassionate counsel to people who have suffered work related injuries, occupational diseases, or repetitive trauma at work, as well as representing individuals in Social Security matters and claims before the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Born in Miami, Florida, Michael is a native Floridian who has resided on the Treasure Coast since 1989. The Matheson & Horowitz law firm only represents injured and sick individuals and does not represent employers or insurance companies. Assisting injured citizens is Michael’s passion. What I love about the work that I do is we have an opportunity to help injured people who don’t know about the legal system, and who truly need our assistance,” Attorney Horowitz says. The insurance companies will not protect the injured worker’s interests. It is essential that an injured worker have someone behind them who knows these insurance companies and their tactics. Michael has been handling these cases for over 26 years now on the Treasure Coast and throughout Florida, and knows every trick in the book.

Michael became interested in the law and justice at an early age. He attended Florida State University where he obtained a degree in political science with minor degrees in philosophy and theater, all essential ingredients to create the attorney Michael is today. Michael then attended Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where he was very active in Moot Court and won several awards and scholarships for his litigation skills.
