About Megan Clark

Megan E. Clark was admitted to the bar of the State of New Jersey in 2006. In 2009, Ms. Clark served as a law clerk to the Hon. Robert J. Gilson, J.S.C. in the Sussex County Superior Court, Family Part. Since that time she has focused her legal practice exclusively on family law matters.

Ms. Clark serves as an Early Settlement Panelist in Sussex County, to assist litigants in settling contested divorce and post-judgment issues. She also regularly volunteers her time at Project Self Sufficiency in Newton, New Jersey, offering free family law consultations and conducting family law seminars on issues of divorce, custody, support, and equitable distribution.

Ms. Clark received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. While attending law school, she was president of the Public Interest Law Network and participated in the Housing and Homelessness Clinical Program, providing pro bono legal services to residents of Essex County who were homeless or in imminent danger of becoming homeless. After graduating from Seton Hall, Ms. Clark was an associate at Sills, Cummis & Gross, P.C. in Newark, where she practiced commercial litigation and products liability defense at both the state and federal levels.

In 2008, Ms. Clark volunteered in Cape Town, South Africa, assisting African refugees with obtaining legal status, and assisting refugees whose employment rights had been violated with presenting their cases before the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration.

In her spare time, Megan is a devoted practitioner of yoga and meditation. She avidly studies yoga philosophy and Buddhism and seeks to “live her yoga off her mat.” She travels throughout the world embracing these ancient practices in their various forms, as well as surfing some of the world’s best waves.
