About Mark Brooks

Mark was born and raised in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. In 1982, he graduated from Washington and Jefferson College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. Mark received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Capital University School of Law in 1985, where he was elected to membership in the Order of the Curia for high scholastic standing and legal scholarship. He now resides in Uniontown, where he focuses a majority of his practice in the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas. He is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania State Courts and also the Federal Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and practices primarily out of our Connellsville office.

With over 30 years of experience, Mark has earned widespread recognition as a skilled and seasoned litigator who is able to effectively advocate on his client’s behalf. His practice is focused on all areas litigation including complex corporate litigation, real estate litigation, municipal litigation, and domestic litigation. He is also a former prosecutor and First Assistant District Attorney of Fayette County. He received state recognition earning the Outstanding Prosecutor Award. When combining his litigation practices, Mark has handled in excess of 350 jury trials.

Mark’s domestic litigation practices include actions for divorce, custody, spousal and child support. His litigation practice also includes representing those who have been injured as a result of the negligence or carelessness of others. One of the things that Mark enjoys most about his practice is not only helping those who seek legal services but also getting to know his clients and helping them solve their problems.
