About Marie Michaud

Marie Michaud was not born in the U.S., and did not speak English as a child. Just like you, she is an immigrant. She has lived in Quebec and Japan, and studied in Japan, Canada, Guatemala, and the United States. She completed law school, mastered English, and got her license to practice law in California.

She knows how frustrating the immigration process can be, because she went through it. She had many different visas and prioritized staying legal. However, despite her best efforts, one day she found herself without an employer. Since her status was linked to employment with the particular employer, she was left without legal status. Due to her skills and expertise, she was quickly able to find a legal solution to her problem.
