About Lisa Willis

Lisa Mouscardy-Willis is currently a Labor Relations Specialist at NYSUT (New York State United Teachers). With over twenty years of experience in her field, she works with New York State Higher Education local affiliates in the capacity of consultant, advocate, communicator, trainer and facilitator in the resolution of workplace issues.

Professionally trained as an attorney, Ms. Mouscardy-Willis’s past experiences include Trial Attorney at the New York City Board of Education, Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office and Probation Officer with the New York City Probation Department.
Ms. Mouscardy-Willis is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and sits on a number of committees which include Labor & Employment, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Elder Law, and Diversity & Inclusion.

Ms. Mouscardy-Willis received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from New York Institute of Technology, New York City and earned her Juris Doctorate from City University of New York Law School in Queens, New York.

Ms. Mouscardy-Willis holds professional certifications in both Mediation & Arbitration.
