About Lisa Temple

Lisa Temple is a seasoned business lawyer, with a focus on health technology and other technology transactions, intellectual property matters, licensing, corporate formation and corporate reorganization. She specializes in drafting and negotiating complex content and technology agreements, handling high-volume vendor agreements, simplifying contracting processes and creating streamlined form contracts for clients.

Lisa’s career has touched on many aspects of the issues surrounding business and technology firms. She has provided general legal and business advice to healthcare providers, health tech companies and online retail brands, and negotiated and drafted numerous technology and other commercial transactions for a range of businesses.

Lisa worked for IBM’s Legal Department as a Senior Attorney, supporting various IBM businesses including software, business collaborations, hardware manufacturing, human resources, environmental law and procurement. Prior to attending Brooklyn Law School she received her B.A. in Sociology from Tufts University.

Prior to joining Temple Law, Lisa was a Senior Editor at Practical Law (Thomson Reuters). In that role, she was responsible for creating multiple standard and annotated agreements and clauses, practice notes and checklists, all of which were published and licensed to paid subscribers. Lisa has a passion for legal drafting, and for bringing simplification and efficiency to her client’s contracting processes.

Lisa lives in Brookfield, CT with her husband, three daughters and two dogs. She is an elected member of Brookfield, CT’s Zoning Board of Appeals, and is a regular volunteer at the Bethel Community Food Pantry in Bethel, CT.
