She graduated from Auburn University and then Cumberland School of Law. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. T. Leigh’s practice is primarily in Davidson County and the surrounding middle Tennessee counties.

T. Leigh has been a featured guest instructor at schools throughout the southeast such as Vanderbilt University School of Law, the University of Alabama School of Law, the University of North Carolina School of Law, Ole Miss School of Law, the University of Memphis School of Law, and others. She continues to provide private bar exam tutoring to select clients and teaches as a CLE Faculty Member at the Tennessee Bar Association.

T. Leigh is also active in the Nashville community. She previously served on the Board of Directors of Mending Hearts, Inc. and led volunteer teams for Cross Point Church for both demolition and remodeling of homes after the Nashville Flood of 2010. She and her husband, Harold, practice law together at The Rushton Law Firm, PLLC.
