About Leah Chaney

Hi, I’m Leah Chaney
I am a graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law and have been a member of the Missouri Bar for 16 years. I began a private practice in Lincoln County, Missouri, in 2006 focusing on Family Law, Criminal Defense, Landlord Tenant issues and Personal Injury. Thereafter, I served as the elected prosecuting attorney in Lincoln County for 8 years. My work experience gleaned from both occupations have given me knowledge and understanding on variety of legal issues my clients may face. In addition, numerous hours in court and trial have afforded me significant court room and trial skills. I founded the Chaney Law Group in 2019 to utilize my legal expertise and experience helping those who need legal assistance. I appreciate that most individuals hope to never find themselves in need of an attorney. When it happens that they need legal counsel, it can be very intimidating and confusing. I am passionate about helping my clients through the litigious process while giving a voice to their position.
