About Lara Dicristina

Lara DiCristina is a partner in the firm’s Admiralty and Maritime, Mass Tort and Class Actions, Insurance Coverage and Defense, and Energy and Environmental sections. With over a decade of litigation experience, Ms. DiCristina has represented maritime and energy industry clients in a wide variety of cases with an emphasis on Jones Act, personal injury, wrongful death, toxic tort, offshore oil and gas casualties, collisions/allisions, longshore and harbor workers’ claims, commercial disputes and contractual defense and indemnity litigation. Ms. DiCristina has defended numerous cases dealing with chemical releases and spills for a major client in the Towing industry. Ms. DiCristina has successfully defended tug and barge owners, ocean-going vessels, drilling contractors, service contractors, and oil and gas production companies in state and federal courts. Ms. DiCristina also has extensive experience representing foreign and domestic primary and excess insurers and Protection and Indemnity Clubs in a wide array of coverage and defense matters. 

Ms. DiCristina is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Lawyers Professionalism & Ethics Committee. Ms. DiCristina is also a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association and Federal Bar Association.
