About Kimberly Tellin
Kim Tellin is an experienced corporate and real estate attorney whose expertise includes business transactions, general corporate law, and closing complex commercial real property transactions. She is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group.
Kim’s practice focuses on general corporate, business transactional and real property work, including business entity formations, entity maintenance and authority documentation, business asset sales and handling commercial real property sales, from purchase agreements through closing. Kim has managed and successfully closed complex commercial real property sales involving up to 35 separate owners and multiple properties. She uses her strong case management and organizational skills to deal with a wide variety of challenges to achieve successful closings. She handles all aspects of closing issues, including drafting agreements, preparation of all seller closing documents, resolving seller entity good standing issues and authorizations, working through various title issues, communications with owners, working with escrow and title officers, review of closing statements, and more. She enjoys working within teams of attorneys and paralegals at the firm to achieve successful results for clients.
In business, Kim handles a wide variety of documentation for entity formations, shareholder and LLC member agreements, preparation of resolutions, drafting agreements and miscellaneous contracts, transfers of ownership documentation, and asset sales agreements. In addition to her business and real property experience, Kim also has several years’ experience in estate planning and trusts and estates administration, and enjoys assisting on those projects, as well.
Kim is a native Oregonian with long family ties to the state. She is one of five close family members that are Oregon State University alumni, soon to add a sixth. Go Beavs! Kim spent many hundreds of hours as a volunteer in various capacities while her children were enrolled in the Beaverton School District, as classroom volunteer, school newsletter publisher, fundraiser and event organizer, and parent/booster group officer and volunteer. Outside the office, Kim enjoys playing USTA tennis matches or practicing with friends.
