About Kimberly Rohn
Kim has brought passion and dedication to her work in the legal field for over 20 years. Her legal experience and commitment to building relationships with her clients is reflected through numerous returning clients. If there is one thing Kim continuously strives for it is service to her clients and to the community. Kim is originally from Shawnee, Oklahoma, and grew up in Colorado and Washington. She completed her undergraduate education at Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Justice. After graduating, Kim relocated to the Inland Empire and began her work in the nonprofit legal arena as a legal assistant in the Legal Department of the Campus Crusade for Christ International Headquarters, located in Arrowhead Springs, California. Her success and passion quickly led her to pursue a Juris Doctor at the University of LaVerne College of Law. She received her Law Degree in 1991. Her attorney career started in Ontario, CA at Covington and Crowe, LLP in the corporate and business law department. After seven, successful years at Covington and Crowe, Kim opened her own law practice in 1998.
While Kim’s experience at Covington and Crowe was valuable and fulfilling, she decided to take a different approach with her law practice. She wanted to work with small businesses and nonprofits, focusing on competent, affordable legal services. By placing an emphasis on strong relationships with her clients, she can provide top-notch legal work at a fair rate. To this day, Kim has some of her same clients from when she first opened her practice. Much of her client base is from recommendations from previous clients that consider her advice to be a crucial asset to the success of their business. Kim specializes in various business legal matters including corporate organization, purchase or sale of businesses, entity changes , and many other legal issues. Kim’s other area of expertise is in nonprofit legal matters. Beginning a nonprofit organization and obtaining tax-exempt status is no easy feat. Yet, Kim has helped numerous organizations navigate this task time and again.
Even though she provides close care and attention to her clients, Kim still manages to be actively involved in her community. Her community involvement includes serving on the board of directors of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, Christian Counseling Service of the East Valley, Inc., and Corporate Advisors Network. In unique, special cases, Kim also provides pro bono legal services to local charitable organizations and pro bono legal consultations to clients of the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center, an organization that she holds in very high esteem.
Although Kim loves her job, she does make an effort to spend some time out of the office. When Kim isn’t practicing law she spends time with her daughter, son and husband of 30 years. Kim’s favorite activities include playing tennis, cheering on her kids at their sporting events, riding atv’s, and fresh water fishing in the mountains. On the occasion that Kim catches a professional sporting event, you’ll find her rooting for the Denver Broncos, Boston Celtics, Oklahoma Sooners, LA Angeles and Tim Tebow!. You might also have friends, family, or other commitments in your life that extend beyond your business or organization. Kim understands this and utilizes every bit of working time she has, so that you can enjoy your time out of the office just like she can.
