Kimberly Kasin
About Kimberly Kasin
Kimberly Kasin has dedicated her practice to family law since graduating from Seattle University School of Law, primarily in the areas of dissolution, child custody and support matters. She personally oversees every aspect of her cases and maintains open and clear lines of communication with her clients. Kimberly prides herself on truly getting to know her clients’ goals, and then using her knowledge of the law and legal system to achieve the best possible results. Having been through a divorce herself, Kimberly also knows first-hand how stressful and emotional the legal process can be. She strives to become a trusted adviser who provides aggressive but compassionate representation.
While Kimberly has had significant experience in the courtroom, she is a strong advocate for alternative dispute resolution in its various forms, including direct settlement negotiations, mediation and arbitration, and collaboration. She has a keen eye for detail, which is essential for negotiating and drafting complex property settlement agreements, child support agreements, parenting plans, and other formal documents involved in dissolution proceedings. Kimberly has been recognized by her peers and was named a “Rising Star” by Washington Law & Politics magazine, an honor bestowed on only 2.5% of eligible attorneys in Washington State.
Growing up, Kimberly lived in various places during her childhood (including Texas, Montana, South Korea and Sicily) before her family settled in Western Washington. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Washington. She currently resides in Bellevue with her husband and two children, where she serves on the Board of Directors of Youth Eastside Services. During her free time she enjoys golfing, skiing and traveling with her friends and family.
