About Ken Byers
In 1981, Ken Byers was called to the Bar. He was recognized as the most exceptional student in the physics discipline by receiving the Engineer’s Award from Trent University. It is uncommon for individuals who graduate with an undergraduate degree in science, especially physics, to pursue law school. Ken’s expertise in physics has proven to be a valuable asset in his legal practice, as many cases involve complex scientific evidence such as accident reconstruction, breathalyzer instrumentation, and DNA. Ken completed his law degree at Osgoode Law School in 1979. During his formative years, he worked under the guidance of prominent lawyer Martin Telpitsky, who served as his mentor and had a significant impact on Ken’s approach to practicing law.
