About Justin Der

Justin J. Der joined Albert & Mackenzie in 2013 as a Senior Associate Attorney in the
Orange county office, and is now a Partner based out of our San Diego office. He is
fervently focused on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of
employers, insurers and third-party administrators. Justin’s background
representing Social Security disability claimants in Administrative hearings gives
him unique insight into both sides and ultimately assists in moving cases forward
quickly and with effective outcomes.
Justin was admitted to the California State Bar in 2010. He is a graduate of Notre
Dame de Namur University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in
Biology. While at Notre Dame, he served as a Captain on the Men’s Lacrosse team
for four consecutive years, refining his leadership skills. Justin attended California
Western School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2010
