Attorney John Weedn graduated from Missouri Southern State University, Honors Program, Political Science; Oklahoma, University of, Juris Doctorate, Am Jur Award- Jurisprudence, 1997. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Ottawa County Bar Association, and a Hicks Epton Award Winner. John is also a member of the NRA, and committee member for Ducks Unlimited and NWTF, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Ottawa County Boys and Girls Club.
John’s history includes serving as a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association Board of Governors, and has served on the Budget, Audit, and Bench and Bar Committees. John has also served as a gaming commissioner for the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma and currently serves as the Afton, Oklahoma city Judge.
John was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 2000 and has been practicing law for over 20 years in Personal Injury Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, Indian and Tribal Law and Tort Claims, Estate Planning, and Expungement. Additionally, John has since been admitted to the Wyandotte Nation Bar, Quapaw Tribe Bar, Cherokee Nation Bar, and Miami Tribe Bar.
