About Joe Cross
S. Joseph Cross commits his entire practice to aggressively defending Michigan DUI charges, criminal charges, and restoring driving privileges that have been suspended or revoked for DUI and traffic convictions.
Joe has been working in Michigan’s court system since 1996. He has served as a Judicial Clerk for several courts, including Oakland County’s Drug Court, and has served as a Federal Law Clerk for the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan. Mr. Cross is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Oakland County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before Michigan’s state and federal courts.
He is Vice Chairman of the Continuing Legal Education Committee that assists other attorneys in staying current on the law, and he also serves on the Criminal Law Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association. Mr. Cross participates in the American Inn of Court program committed to improving the quality of service rendered to attorney clientele, and he presents annually as a guest speaker at the Michigan Basic Skills Seminar advising new attorneys on the practices and procedures of Michigan’s court system.
