About Jim Stewart

Jim Stewart has been a Civil Litigator since 1979 and has represented Plaintiffs and Defendants in a wide range of disputes. He was retained as a Hospital Defense Attorney and served as a private practice Personal Injury Attorney. Prior to attending law school, Jim was a Claims Adjuster and Claims Supervisor for two national insurance companies handling all types of Personal Injury Claims, including Medical Malpractice.

Today, Jim is a full-time Mediator and Arbitrator with BAY Mediation & Arbitration in Atlanta and has served as a neutral throughout Georgia in over 5,000 cases. Since 1986, he has served as a neutral in cases involving Catastrophic Injuries, Complex Litigation, Multiple Parties, Nursing Home Negligence, Medical Malpractice, Professional Negligence, Tractor Trailers & Automobiles, Wrongful Death, Premises/Dangerous Conditions, Defective Products, Insurance Contracts & Coverage, and Libel & Slander.

Jim is a Registered Neutral with the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution and has been a recognized member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and the Georgia Academy of Mediators & Arbitrators.
