About Jeffrey Sewell
Before entering private practice, Mr. Sewell served as county attorney for 25 years in Alabama’s own Jefferson County, the most populous county in the state. He has an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell and enjoys similarly high ratings from other peer review rating services. Mr. Sewell has served as lead counsel in numerous high-profile cases at all levels of the state and federal courts. His areas of practice include state and local tax law, complex litigation, condemnation and eminent domain, private and public sector contract law, riparian landowner rights, land use law, environmental law, construction law, state and federal constitutional law and consent decree administration. Additionally, Mr. Sewell is a commissioned officer in the US Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
