About Jeffrey Perlman

Jeffrey Perlman has been an attorney in Metro Detroit for 35 years, with the vast majority of his work focusing on criminal law. Following in the footsteps of his father (an attorney) and uncle (an attorney and Magistrate), Jeffrey developed a deep compassion for defendants who are facing a system that is overwhelmingly stacked against them.

To provide defense to those who otherwise could not afford council, Jeffrey regularly offers his services as a court appointed attorney. His commitment to providing a vigorous defense for all of his clients, rich or poor, is his life’s calling.

This reputation for diligence has placed Jeffrey in numerous high profile and precedent setting cases, including being retained as council for Everybody’s Café in Waterford, the subject of Michigan’s first raid against a Medical Marijuana establishment.

Jeffrey’s reputation in the legal community has earned him the respect of his peers, allowing him to expand his work to perform the role of facilitator for civil injury cases.
