About Jeffrey Oneal

Jeffrey Oneal graduated from University of Santa Clara with a Bachelors of Science in Commerce in 1983 and Juris Doctorate in 1986. He is a fourth generation, San Jose lawyer having been admitted to the Bar Association in California in 1987.  His practice has been focused on all aspects of civil defense litigation with an emphasis in defense of commercial clients and public entities in the areas of personal injury, product liability, premises liability and construction defects.  In the past he has served as Senior Trial Counsel with the staff counsel office of Firemans’ Fund Insurance Company.  More recently, he was the managing partner of LaMore, Brazier, Riddle & Giampaoli and later LaMore, Brazier & Oneal.  Mr. Oneal is a member of the U.S. District Court- Northern, Central and Eastern Districts of California, Northern California Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute and Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA).  He has served as Judicial Arbitrator, Judge Pro Tempore and Fee Arbitrator in Santa Clara County.  He has also been involved with a variety of charitable organizations including serving as past chairman of the Board of Directors of Via Rehabilitation Services.
