About Jeffrey Liebenson

Jeff Liebenson is the founder of his own firm, Liebenson Law, in New York where
he advises various music and digital distribution clients in transactional and IP
matters. Jeff has represented Gracenote, FremantleMedia, Sony Music, EMI
Recorded Music, and Goldman Sachs after going into private practice in 2000.
Before entering private practice, Jeff worked at BMG International where he was
the head of legal and business affairs for BMG Music Canada and oversaw music,
video, videogame, and digital activities in 53 countries.

He also has worked at the
New York law firms Katten, Muchin, Rosenman LLP, and Herrick, Feinstein
LLP. Jeff is the current President of the International Association of Entertainment
Lawyers. He holds both a J.D. and a LL.M. from NYU School of Law.
